Jamie Johnson

Student Research Assistant
I am Jamie Johnson, a first-generation college student from Plumas County. I'm a transfer student from Feather River College, where I received an associate's degree in general agriculture. I am planning to graduate from Chico in the Spring of 2025 with a B.S. in Plant and Soil Science with the Crops and Horticulture option. I will be spending the summer with Dr. Logan Smith researching the biological components of soil through CSC2's Undergraduate Research program with the Soil Carbon Accrual Project being done by the Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems. When I'm not studying or working, I like to backpack, road trip, listen to music, and visit with friends and family.
