Justin Vigil

Justin Vigil is from a small town in Eastern Shasta County, California. He grew up on a large cattle ranch where he was often helping hired hands move cattle and fix fences. Justin completed his undergraduate degree in Business Economics from California State University, East Bay in 2022 where he was also a member of the Men’s Basketball team. He most recently managed 455 acres of pickling cucumbers for M3 ranches where he developed plans for irrigation, cultivation, and harvest. Justin has joined the Chico State community to pursue a Master’s of Science in Regenerative Agriculture to help farmers and ranchers obtain resources in funding, sustainability, and education. Justin’s hobbies include fishing, skiing, golfing, and cooking. He will also use his remaining year of athletic eligibility to play for the Chico State Men’s Basketball team.
