Teaching & Researching the Camp Fire: Tour of the Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve

Monday, June 24, 2019, 1–4 p.m.
Butte Creek Ecological Reserve

Come join the faculty and staff on a driving tour of the Reserve as they tell us about the work being done after the Camp Fire on and around the Reserve. There will still be some wildflowers, plus a potential bear sighting!

This special tour in four-wheel vans will help us understand the impact the fire has made in our region and the critical work being done to mitigate future fire damage.

We will hear from Megan Kurtz, Community Liaison, about her work in the community and some exciting partnership opportunities that are developing on the Ridge in cooperation with the Reserve. Finally, we will have time to connect and continue to share ideas and information as we work together moving forward.

Space is limited, please RSVP by Wednesday, June 19th.
