Who Should Attend? 

Anyone that wants to take their farm/ranch to the next level. This course will examine all aspects of regenerative farming and ranching, soil health, plant health, and animal health. Hands-on experience will be heavily emphasized. This is a power-packed three days that will change your farm or ranch should be and can be. Taught by highly experienced and regenerative farmers. Participants will work in teams to solve real-world grazing problems and sharpen their skills. What You Will Learn:

Scholarship Information:

The scholarship application deadline is 45 days prior to each school.


The primary goal of the Soil Health Academy Scholarship Program is to inspire, educate, and equip both current and future generations of regenerative farmers, ranchers, and educators by providing scholarships to subsidize their tuition to attend a Soil Health Academy.
The scholarship program is supported through generous donations.


The Soil Health Academy Scholarship Program is available for the following groups of individuals:
1) Beginning Farmers or Ranchers
2) Student/Intern/Young Farmer/Rancher
3) Military Veteran Farmers/Ranchers
4) Agricultural Educators/Influencers - Institution, Agency, NGO, Ag Consultants, and others

Those eligible to apply for these awards are:

Next-generation family farmers and ranchers who are no more than 35 years of age and have parents who are involved in agriculture.

Students, interns, and young farmers who are no more than 35 years of age and who are keenly interested in a career in regenerative agriculture.

Farmers who are military veterans currently involved in agriculture or who are interested in becoming involved in regenerative agriculture.  Must be a former or active member of the U.S. military to apply for this category.  

Educators with a desire to provide regenerative agricultural instruction to the next generation of farmers, ranchers or agriculture professionals. Applicants may include USDA, NRCS, Extension and other USDA personnel, Ag Consultants, state conservation/ag agency personnel, and non-profit organization (NGO) personnel.  


Complete and submit the online form. The deadline for submission is a minimum of 60 days prior to the starting date of the Soil Health Academy applicants wish to attend. Please refer to the website for a listing of future Academies.(opens in new window)
