Healthy Relationships: Flags, Boundaries, & Apologies (45 minutes)
- Explores red, yellow, and green flags in relationships. It also covers the importance of setting boundaries, the types of boundaries, and the language to use when establishing them, along with how to give and recognize sincere apologies
- This presentation helps participants understand their reporting obligations and provides language for sharing these obligations with others. It's particularly useful for employees who frequently interact with students or others who may disclose sensitive information.
- We provide an overview of our mission and the services we offer, explaining how we can support individuals and organizations in addressing various issues related to consent, trauma, and safety.
Affirmative Consent, Sexual Assault, & Bystander Intervention (45 minutes)
- This presentation defines sexual assault and coercion, explores what affirmative consent looks like, and emphasizes the importance of clear, enthusiastic consent. It also introduces the 5 D’s of bystander intervention.
Consent & Alcohol (45 minutes)
- This presentation discusses the complexities of consent, especially in relation to alcohol consumption, and how alcohol can affect decision-making in intimate relationships. This presentation can be done in collaboration with WellCat Prevention.
Why Safe Place? (20 minutes)
- We explain the value of reaching out to an advocate, highlight the resources available to support individuals, and walk through what a Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE) entails.
Reporting Obligations: How to be Trauma Informed (20 minutes)
- This presentation explores how to respond to disclosures of trauma, offering guidance on creating trauma-sensitive spaces and interactions, while understanding the impact trauma has on individuals and how it shapes their behavior and responses.
Why Safe Place? - Fraternity Sorority Life 5- Star Program (25 minutes)
This blended presentation introduces the mission and services of Safe Place, highlighting the importance of advocacy and the support available to individuals and groups. We discuss the value of connecting with an advocate and emphasize the necessity of consent in all interactions.
