Welcome new Faculty
Dr. Mark Newton is the newest member of Chico State's Science Education Department, beginning Fall of 2017.
Prior to joining the faculty at Chico State, Mark work as an instructor and Learning and Development Facilitator at the University of South Florida. He has taught multiple courses at the university level, including a place-based course in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Before pursuing his doctorate, Mark was a middle school science teacher for 13 years in North Carolina and Florida.
