Cashiering
Payroll Distribution
Checks (payroll and other reimbursement checks) may be picked up in the Cashiering Office, Student Services Center Room 230 during regular business hours. You must present a photo ID (Chico State ID, driver's license, passport) to pick up a check - no exceptions.
- Student Payday
Student payroll warrants (checks) are available for pickup on or after the 15th of the month. If the 15th falls on a Saturday, they will be available on Friday; if it falls on a Sunday, they will be available on Monday.
During the semester -
Students may pick up their checks at the Cashiering Office, Student Services Center Room 230 during normal business hours.
During the winter and summer break -
If you are not on campus for the January or June payday, you may have your check mailed to you. You must supply the Cashiering Office a self-address and stamped envelope. On the inside flap, write the last three digits of your social security number and the work "student". Make sure the writing is legible, we will not guess what you are trying to convey nor are we responsible for lost or returned items due to illegible writing.
- Faculty/Staff Payday
Main payroll (end of month) is distributed at a central location to staff members authorized to pick up warrants and direct deposit stubs on behalf of the department/college. Individual employees will pick up their check/stub from their department.
Any payroll received throughout the month (that is, anything not designated as main payroll) will be available for pickup by the employee or designated warrant pickup person in the Cashiering Office.
