Bio: Hi, my name is Nolan Spillane. I am a third year student at Chico State in Civil Engineering. This is my first semester as an SI leader for CIVL 321 Fluid Mechanics. I joined SI because two years ago I was a student mentor in upward bound back home in Fairbanks Alaska. In that program I got to see students learn and develop their critical thinking skills. This was a very rewarding feeling that I'm hoping to replicate in my SI class this semester. In my free time I like to hang out with friends, play guitar and waterski. I’m excited to be a part of the team and looking forward to this semester!
