Avery was born and raised in Redding and transferred to CSU Chico from Shasta College, where she worked as a math tutor. It is her fourth and final year pursuing a degree in Mathematics Education to become a high school math teacher. Avery enjoys spending time with her pets, playing video games, backpacking, and birdwatching. She is enthusiastic about tutoring again and can’t wait to share her love of mathematics with others!
