Bio: Hi, I’m Joel! I’m a pre-nursing major and I completed my first year at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo and transferred to CSUC for the Fall 2025 semester. I spend a lot of time studying, but when I have free moments I like to read, ride my bike, and play / do prep work for D&D with the CSU Chico D&D Club! For a long time I’ve had a passion for writing, and in the past I’ve done a lot of creative writing in my free time. I love engaging in creative outlets, and the opportunities provided by programs and classes here at CSUC have been fantastic! I’m looking forward to integrating into the community more and further exploring the options that I have as a student here.
One fun fact: I love music and I have a burgeoning CD collection which I’ve been building for a few years!
