Annual Timeline
July
- Funds for awarded projects are transferred to department accounts & program codes established.
- Third Monday: VPSA/deans/CFAC submit Unit Summary Reports.
September
- Second Monday: Provost Office sends out call to the campus for Unit-level Committee membership nominations via Campus/Student Announcements & Orion advertisement.
October
- Third Monday: Provost Office sends University-wide request for proposals via Campus/Student Announcements & Orion advertisement.
November
- The CFAC approves Unit-level Committee structures and notifies units/colleges of their allocations for the following award year.
December
- First Friday: Deadline for submission of proposals.
February
- Last Friday: Deadline for VPSA/colleges/CFAC to submit expenditure plans (for the following award year) to CFAC.
April
- The CFAC notifies awardees & units/colleges of expenditure plan approvals.
May
- Last Friday: Awardee Assessment Reports are due for current year funded projects.
- All transactions using SLF funds must be completed by May 31st.
