Beautiful, Bold, and Beethoven
Chamber Music Recital

Beethoven in a C minor is always bold. His piano trio in that key was so brash that audiences were taken by surprise. On the other hand, Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata is a beautiful song sung by cello and piano. Hindemith's Quartet, both bold and beautiful, is one of his most euphoniously romantic essays for chamber ensemble. Performers include Bradley Martin, pianist; Anna Presler, violinist; Leighton Fong, cellist; and Russell Burnham, clarinetist.
