Biography

Galen Anderson has been involved in public education for the past thirty years. He is currently a lecturer for the School of Education at CSU, Chico. Besides earning his degrees and teaching credentials at CSU, Chico, Galen has continued to work closely with the School of Education serving as a cooperating teacher for the Concurrent Credential Program, supervisor of student teachers for the Education Specialist Program, and as a member of the School of Education and Special Education Advisory Boards.

During the day, Galen Anderson is a mild/moderate Special Education teacher at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, CA. His expertise with students who have emotional dysregulation has helped develop a more inclusive setting for these students.  Galen is also an active participant in the TEA (Teaching Excellence and Achievement) Program collaborating with and mentoring teachers from around the globe.
