Teaching and Research Interests
Theresa Carrio is currently an instructor for the Single Subject Program for the School of Education at CSU, Chico. She also mentors Single Subject credential candidates as a university supervisor. Prior to arriving at CSUC, Carrio taught high school Spanish/ELD. She was also the coordinator for her school’s ELAC (English Language Advisory Committee). Other than her interest in teaching World language, she has an affinity to using multicultural children’s literature as an agent of change in the classroom.
