Immunizations
The California State University system requires all students, as a condition of their continuing enrollment, to meet immunization requirements (EO 803).
PLEASE NOTE: Applying for an Exemption to the Measles, Rubella, and/or Hepatitis B vaccination requirement does not confer an exemption for the COVID-19 vaccination requirement. You must request an exemption through the Self-Certification process on your Student Center for COVID-19.
How to provide proof of immunizations
Students should upload proof of their vaccines to the Wellcat Health Center patient portal(opens in new window) before accessing campus:
- Hepatitis B Immunization (required if you are a first-time enrollee who is 18 years of age or younger as of the first day of the semester)
- Measles and Rubella Immunization (required of all students born after January 1, 1957)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis (Tdap)
- Meningococcal Disease (Serogroups A, C, Y, W-135)
- Tuberculosis Screening/Risk Assessment (TB)
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in an enrollment hold being placed on your academic record until proof is received and verified. For information about immunizations, contact the Wellcat Health Center at (530) 898-5241 or immunizations@csuchico.edu.
If you were admitted prior to fall 2022 and returning, please contact the Office of the Registrar to submit proof and release holds.
