Ask Me! at Choose Chico
Staff Council is organizing staff to welcome prospective students and their families for Choose Chico(opens in new window) on Saturday, April 6. We will be staffing three "Ask Me!" stations at the main entrances to campus to welcome folks with a friendly face and a warm greeting. This is a volunteer event, and all staff are welcome to volunteer.

Ask Me! Tables during August
Chico State Staff Council's Ask Me! tables have grown rapidly over the last few years. Spread around campus for the first 3 days of classes, 250 staff and faculty volunteers welcome students and help answer questions as they find their way around campus.
The tables are stocked with maps, stickers, information about campus programs, and healthy snacks as a way to start a conversation about our food pantry. This is a favorite volunteer activity, as the energy of the new and returning students is infectious.
