Kelly Larson

Professional Development Coordinator

Kelly provides individualized intensive guidance and motivational support to engineering, computer science and construction management (ECC) students. She helps incoming students with orientation, academic advising, and tutorial coordination. She provides personal academic counseling, assistance with career counseling, professional development, and financial literacy. She also helps ECC students enroll in research and summer internship experiences.

Kelly is from Willows, California. Kelly holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from University of Phoenix. Kelly is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She has spent over 15 years supporting HR for multiple companies throughout the United States as well as the global medical device manufacturer, Medtronic. Additionally, her work experience includes time with the US Department of Defense in Italy and the Kuwae Executive Committee in Okinawa, Japan. Her ambition to listen, mentor, and motivate others began in high school then guided her through her career in HR.

Kelly has a passion for teaching the benefits of multi-cultural diversity and inclusion while encouraging individuals to remain true to their whole self. In her free time, Kelly loves to read, hike, and ride her bike.
