Summer Orientation Schedule

The primary orientation program for incoming students. It includes major-based sessions, academic advising, course registration, a parent and guest program, an optional overnight program, workshop sessions, and a campus resource fair.

Learn about Chico State's Cross-Cultural Leadership Center (CCLC) and Affinity Resource Centers. The CCLC is a space where students can celebrate culture and diversity. Get Involved: Your Guide to Campus Engagement • Performing Arts Center (PAC) 134
Student Life and Leadership and Recreational Sports will discuss how students can maximize their time outside of class through involvement and leadership opportunities. Finding a sense of belonging, meeting new and lifelong friends, and being engaged in campus life. Program involvement includes: student clubs, sports and recreation, welcome events, leadership series, and more.

The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) assists students with various disabilities, medical conditions, and learning disabilities. Students who had DSPS services, 504 plans, or IEPs in K–12 may be eligible for services at Chico State.

Join us for a quick exploration of what to expect in the first year of college and how FYE-Supported General Education classes are proven to provide students a learning space with community, practical tools for building a strong academic identity, and a roadmap for success in the first year and beyond.

The Well at Bell Memorial Union strives to provide a tranquil environment where Wildcats can find serenity and reset amid the hustle and bustle of campus life. Students will find spaces dedicated to meditation, mindfulness, yoga, prayer and reflection, sensory needs, creative and quiet spaces, and a Self-Care Corner.

UH provides an inclusive and interactive living environment, where students will unlock their true potential outside the classroom. This session will assist in answering your questions on how UH can help you stay connected and continue to grow.

We offer a variety of programs in 200+ locations and 35 different countries, and over 100 institutions across the U.S. and U.S. Territories.     At the end of orientation, students and guests are invited to tour the Wildcat Recreation Center (WREC). Tours will be departing from the BMU lobby at 4:30 p.m.
