Sabrina Marquez

Sabrina (she/her) was born in Salinas, California, and spent her young adult years living in both the Inland Empire and Orange County. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, outreach, and program engagement. With a passion for global exploration and cultural exchange, Sabrina has lived and worked abroad in several countries. She spent two years teaching English in Spain, living in Murcia and Almería in Andalucía, and has also lived in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, as well as in Australia on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne. These international experiences shaped her global perspective and deep appreciation for cross-cultural connection.

Professionally, Sabrina previously served as a Program Director for a HSI grant at Chico State, supporting initiatives that expanded access, strengthened student success, and enhanced programs for diverse and historically underrepresented student populations. Outside of her professional work, Sabrina has a strong love for travel, sport and adventure. She is an avid cyclist and backpacker who enjoys exploring new places, cultures, and landscapes around Northern California and the world.
