Study Abroad & Exchange

Victoria Villaseñor, M.A.

Advisor, Study Abroad & Exchange
CSU IP, Direct Exchange & National Student Exchange
Victoria (she/her) was born and raised in Chico and is a proud Wildcat! During her undergraduate education, Victoria studied abroad with USAC twice, first for a semester in Montevideo, Uruguay, then for a winter session in Havana, Cuba. As she was completing her master's in history, she studied abroad for a summer in Oaxaca, Mexico, through San Diego State University. She loved the opportunity to improve her Spanish skills, learn about Latin American history while living in Latin American countries, and deepen her connection to her Mexican roots.

As a student, she held several on-campus positions, including Supplemental Instruction Leader, Upward Bound Resident Advisor, Study Abroad Marketing & Outreach Coordinator, and IEGE Program Assistant. Most recently, Victoria worked for Butte College’s International Program, supporting international students as they adjusted to academic and cultural life in the U.S.

Victoria is so excited to help guide students through the Study Abroad & Exchange process and hopes their experiences will be as positive & life-changing as hers were!
