Monday – Thursday (campus closed on Fridays)
Campus has transitioned to summer hours and will be open for business Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m.—5:30 p.m. Our office will only be physically open (for walk-in and phone inquiries) from 8:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m. during summer work schedule.

Ximena is a proud Wildcat alumna, immigrant and advocate of global education and social justice. During her undergraduate pursuits at Chico State, she embarked on a yearlong study abroad program to Bilbao, Spain, and it profoundly marked her life. From there, her drive to understand the world and humanity further shaped her personal and professional trajectory. She pursued international life-changing experiences from graduate school, at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, to living and working in various cities around the globe.
Ximena is thrilled to be back at Chico State and in the office of International Education and Global Engagement (IEGE) where it all began for her. She is inspired by students’ hopes and dreams to embark on cross-cultural and global adventures and is dedicated to supporting this unique process.
Outside of work, Ximena enjoys exploring nature, storytelling, and experimenting in the kitchen.
