Chelsea Cornell, MSW is faculty in the School of Social Work at California State University, Chico. She spent three years as adjunct faculty prior to joining the department full time in 2014. She is currently a project coordinator for the Title IV-E Child Welfare Training Program. Her practice includes fifteen years in public child welfare, thirteen of those years doing direct social work practice with families and then as a supervisor. In addition, she was an instructor for the Northern California Training Academy, UC Davis, and conducted specialized trainings for northern California child welfare agencies and their community partners. She has taught child welfare, substance abuse, field social work courses.
