I am a proud alumnus of the TRIO SSS program at Chico State. I received both my Bachelor of Art’s degree in Communication Studies, and my Masters in Social Science from Chico State. I was originally born in Mexico, but grew up in exciting and exotic Oroville, California with one older brother and two older sisters.
At the beginning of my student career I worked as an intramural referee, and later became heavily involved in work with the Wildcat Recreation Center and competitive sport clubs. For the last six years, I have worked in Student Life & Leadership, where I gained valuable skills in risk management, freedom of speech, event and project management, and most importantly supporting/advising students.
When not at work, you may find me out playing tennis, cycling, or watching all different types of movies.
I look forward to working with the TRIO SSS program.
