Janet Turner Print Museum

Collections

John Hanania, Welcome Stranger, 1975. Color lithograph. Gift of Sue M. Richardson

The Turner collection was established in 1976 with an initial donation of 400 prints from the personal collection of Professor Janet Turner (1914-1988), an artist, educator, and founder of Chico State's printmaking program. Today, the Turner's living collection encompasses over 4,000 prints from more than 40 countries, representing the diversity of printmaking through works by important historic and contemporary artists.

The digitization of the permanent collection has been generously sponsored by a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation. The collection will be made available online in stages, beginning August 2023. Check back often to see new prints added!
