T he Janet Turner Print Museum has a diverse collection of over 4,000 works of art and invites you to come enjoy the museum’s compelling exhibitions and events. Founder Janet Turner was a professor of studio art and art education at California State University, Chico from 1959–81. Turner entrusted her collection to CSU, Chico to ensure that new generations of students and community members of all ages would have access to fine art. The collection continues to grow, and includes artists from more than 40 countries, including works by Dalí, Dürer, Goya, Hockney, Hogarth, Kollwitz, Miró, Picasso, Rembrandt, Renoir, Saar, Tamayo, Turner, Walker, and many more.
