Step 1: Apply for Admission
Prospective Chico State students must apply using Cal State Apply. Applications submitted through Cal State Apply allow students the opportunity of choosing between the 23 campuses in the California State University (CSU) system. Ensure that you indicate your Veteran status when prompted during the application process.

Do you have less than 60 semester (90 quarter) transferable units? (PDF)
Note: All Veterans receive transfer credit for their military experience (e.g., Basic Training) and are considered transfer students. Chico State is not traditionally open to lower division applicants, but exceptions may be considered for Veterans.
