Visit

You can learn a lot about Chico from our website. But here’s what you can’t do online: Talk to our friendly faculty and students. Listen to water rush through Big Chico Creek, and connect with a college to see its labs and classes firsthand. But you can do all of that when you schedule a visit! So what are you waiting for?

Group Visits

Bringing your students for a campus visit can help them envision a life in college. Chico State welcomes groups for campus tours led by current students where you'll be able to hear firsthand about many of our programs and what makes Chico State unique. For groups of over 50, email specialtours@csuchico.edu for approval before registering.

Schedule an In-Person or Virtual Appointment

Meet with an admissions counselor who can answer questions about your application, admission eligibility or transfer options. We are also prepared to share information with you about Chico State’s affordability, accessibility, student-centered community and experiential learning.

When scheduling an appointment, keep in mind that weekday campus tours are 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m., so if you time your appointment right you can join a campus tour before or after your appointment with a counselor.

Schedule an appointment by calling 530-898-6322 or emailing info@csuchico.edu.

Honoring the Mechoopda People

We acknowledge and are mindful that Chico State stands on lands that were originally occupied by the first people of this area, the Mechoopda, and we recognize their distinctive spiritual relationship with this land, the flora, the fauna, and the waters that run through campus. We are humbled that our campus resides upon sacred lands that since time immemorial have sustained the Mechoopda people and continue to do so today.
