Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Chico State Enterprises

July 10, 2019
Debra S. Larson, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs

As I shared with you earlier this year, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs merged into the CSU, Chico Research Foundation; the combined organization is now “Chico State Enterprises” (CSE). They are using the new name for all business. It will take some time to transition to the new name on forms, documents, signage, and so forth. I encourage you to be patient as they do so.

We have begun a national search for an inaugural Chief Executive Officer for CSE. Please share this opportunity widely, and invite prospective candidates to apply here:

The Chico State Enterprise team is working to ensure that the newly combined organization provides efficient, mission-oriented services to the campus and community. To that end, this Thursday (July 11) some CSE personnel will move offices within the current spaces at 25 Main. The offices will be closed at noon on July 11 and will reopen at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 15. We anticipate that there will be a larger move in the next few months so that all CSE staff can be on a single floor in 25 Main Street. In late August or early September, once faculty are back for the 2019–20 academic year, CSE will host an open house for the campus community at 25 Main Street.

Many thanks go to the Chico State Enterprises team!
