What is LinkedIn Learning?

As Chico State students you have unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning, a website offering video courses taught by industry experts in various subjects. You can gain access to LinkedIn Learning by signing in using your Chico State account.

How to Use Linkedin Learning

Searching for Content.

1. Use the search bar to browse for a topic.
   
   
   
   
2. Once having searched for a topic, use the filters to narrow down the content useful to you.
   
   
   
   

Types of Content 

Once you have searched up the content you are looking for, on the top left there will be a dropdown menu under Type. These Types can help you find what video you are looking for.  

1. Courses - Courses are videos where you will be able to focus on one particular aspect of what you are learning. These videos typically are in range of 1 hr to 15hr. 
2. Videos - Videos are quick knowledge videos that provide a small background, but do not go into great detail. These videos can range from 1 to 59 minutes. 
3. Audio - Audio is small podcast-like audio clip to help people learn and educate themselves. These audio clips can range from few minutes to hrs .
4. Learning Path - Learning Paths are long decriptive class like videos. Many of these videos can be up to 4 hrs to 55 hrs. 

Accessing Your Materials 

To access in progress content that you have started, click “My Learning” in the top right of your screen. You will then see this page with all in progress content.
