Our speaker for the second Women in STEM (WiS) luncheon will be Dr. Margie Borra-Garske, Senior Scientist at Codexis, a protein engineering company in the Bay Area. Dr. Borra-Garske will talk about her pathway to becoming a biochemist, and address challenges and experiences working as a woman in the protein engineering industry. She will be present for a Q&A session during lunch.
