The Chico State Career Center will host its fall All Majors Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the BMU Auditorium.

Approximately 1,000 students and more than 100 company recruiters are expected to attend the fair.

Among the companies and agencies represented will be ADP, California Highway Patrol, California State Controller-Division of Audits, Carmel Valley Ranch, Chico Creek Nature Center, Hewlett-Packard, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Rape Crisis Intervention and Prevention Center, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Francisco Police Department, SolarCity and UPS.

Recruiters will offer both internships and full-time career positions. All students are encouraged to attend to further their understanding of the job market and to learn about career and internship options offered by employers.

“Tri Counties Bank continues to attend Chico State career fairs because we consistently find Chico State students to be professional, personable and capable,” said Don Forbis, recruiter, Tri Counties Bank Human Resources. “Our interactions with Chico State graduates and soon-to-be graduates have proven to be a good thing for our bank, as we are able to hire motivated young professionals who ‘get it.’ We look forward to each career fair, as we are always impressed by the young professionals we get to speak with at the fairs.”
