IFAS-OneSolution



The Foundation is excited to have completed the first phase of the OneSolution upgrade! Most financial recordkeeping was upgraded in August of 2018, with the payroll upgrade completed in September 2018. As of September 30, 2018, old IFAS will be an archived databased used only for reporting.

OneSolution replaces the IFAS software platform that has been utilized by the Foundation since 1997. Upgrading VERY old systems has been a challenging task, but the work completed thus far will allow the Foundation to see great future improvements including:

  • On-line timekeeping
  • On-line check request submittal
  • On-line personnel action forms (PAFs)
  • ...and more
  • Projects of this size with as many stakeholders as we have come with challenges and questions. We appreciate your patience as the Foundation works through challenges and refines coding and reporting. See specific topics below for updates and frequently asked questions:

    Please Note:

    In order to access OneSolution you must be connected to the Chico domain via on campus hard wire or the CSU, Chico VPN. In addition, the Citrix Receiver must be installed on your machine to access OneSolution. .

    PC users will be prompted to install the Citrix Receiver when they attempt to login to OneSolution from the OneSolution Login Site. The Citrix Receiver can also be found on Software Center.

    Mac and iPad users will need to download the Citrix Receiver from the Self Service application. For all Macs that do not yet have the Self Service application, please enroll at www.csuchico.edu/itss/casper. You will need to sign in, download a QuickAdd installer, and get Self Service installed in /Applications.
