In order to be considered for positions with The CSU, Chico Research Foundation, it is necessary to apply for a specific position during a stated recruitment period and follow the stated procedures and closing dates. After the closing date, all complete and qualified applications are forwarded to the search committee for further consideration.  In most cases, this process takes approximately two to three weeks to complete.  Applicants determined to be most qualified for the position will be contacted for an interview.  Before making a formal job offer, reference checks, background investigation and fingerprinting may be conducted.  The search committee makes a recommendation to the hiring authority who then forwards the decision to Human Resources.

The employer is the CSU, Chico Research Foundation, a private non-profit corporation serving as an auxiliary organization of California State University, Chico. Employment with the CSU, Chico Research Foundation is considered at will.
