Meriam Library: 3rd Floor Closure- June 2023- Janurary 2024

3rd Floor Library Update Starts May 30, 2023

The 3rd floor will be closed for lighting and HVAC upgrades from May 30, 2023, through January 2024 (closed fall semester 2023). This project is a deferred maintenance and energy project from FMS and will include the same upgrades that were completed on the 4th floor last year. Learn more about the closure. The third floor houses the Main and Folio Book Collections, Library Acquisitions and Collection Management, Special Collections and University Archives, Enterprise Applications, quiet study space, and study rooms.

Check Out Books from the 3rd floor before May 30. Books in the library's Main and Folio collections will be unavailable during the closure. Patrons will be directed to Interlibrary Loan when searching for books. Video: How to Use Interlibrary Loan. Scanned chapters or the print book can be delivered from partner libraries. Special Collections and University Archives (SPC): will be closed for the duration of the 3rd floor update. If you have a resource that you know you will need, please contact SPC. Items on 1st (New Books and Media), 2nd (Popular collection, DVDs, Periodicals, Reference), and 4th Floor (Juvenile) will still be available.
