Zoom is an online video conferencing solution that is available to all faculty, students, and staff. Zoom can be used for virtual teaching, online office hours, group meetings, and more.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I find Zoom? If you are on a university-owned computer, Zoom should be installed already. If you are on a personal computer or mobile device, please go to Zoom's Download Center(opens in new window).
What platforms are supported by Zoom? Zoom works on PC, Mac, Android, and iOS devices. Zoom also offers direct integrations with Blackboard and Outlook.
How many people can attend a Zoom meeting? Our Zoom licenses support meetings up to 300 participants. If you need larger meetings, please open a support ticket(opens in new window).

Can I record a Zoom meeting and share it in Blackboard? Yes! Once you activate your accounts on Zoom and Kaltura, your Zoom cloud recordings will be automatically transferred into Kaltura. This may take a few hours, but the Kaltura recording is available indefinitely and includes automatically generated closed captions.
