Join us as we raise $100 million for three priorities

You can help us keep pace with the growing ambition of our students and faculty. Together, we prepare tomorrow’s leaders to tackle the world’s most pressing problems.

Priority 1: Empower Student Success

Chico State grad Michael Doris discussing the importance of supporting first generation students and his research opportunities in the College of Natural Sciences.

Chico State’s focus is on making sure that, once our students become a Wildcat, whatever their major, we will do all we can to support their dreams, their life goals, and their ultimate success. Annual giving through the Tower Society allows you to directly empower students by sharing your greatest passions. Our deans, program directors, coaches, and faculty will transform your leadership gift into real-world experiences. You’ll fund the opportunities you want students to have, including scholarships, tutoring, conferences, competitions, student shows, performances, renowned speakers, study abroad, field trips, new equipment and technology for projects and research, as well as resources for faculty development, libraries, museums, and more.

Priority 2: Build Cutting–Edge Facilities

Tomorrow’s facilities must be wired for applied learning and serve as canvasses for innovation, collaborative problem–solving, and intellectual exchange. You major gift is a transformative act. You can help construct new or renovated learning spaces that accelerate real–world experiences and impact.

With your support, we’ll build:

  • A College of Business building for the 21st century that meets the demands of new business, with configurable classrooms, informal meetup spaces, and labs that let students collaborate for a multidisciplinary marketplace
  • An Agriculture Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders, with modernized and expanded farm facilities to support a cross–disciplinary sustainable food system, including a real–world marketing and sales lab, and a leading–edge food processing facility and safety lab
  • The new Physical Sciences Building, whose state-of-the-art facilities—like a science education lab that opens to Big Chico Creek and a high temperature lab to study volcano activity—will spark innovation and benefit our communities
  • Renovated spaces across campus to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world that include cutting-edge technologies and infrastructure, collaborative space for problem-solving, and access to industry tools.

Priority 3: Invest in People

Tower Society members Joyce and Glen Thomas discuss supporting student success.

The foundation of Chico State’s education starts with recruiting and retaining world-class faculty, investing in deserving students, and building transformative programs. When you endow a scholarship, faculty fellowship, or program funding, you invest in people who will transform what tomorrow holds.

By establishing an endowment in your name, in memory of an influential person, or in honor of your passion project, you create a fund to support Chico State’s students, faculty, and/or programs for generations to come.

Student Scholarships

Today, 75 percent of our students receive some sort of financial aid. By endowing a scholarship, you give the gift of education and fuel the potential of our students now and always.

Faculty Fellowships

There is no greater honor than for a dean, chair, or professor to be awarded an endowed fellowship. Your gift creates permanent support for people who are dedicated to mentoring tomorrow’s leaders and conducting research with real–world implications.

Transformative Programs

Chico State’s academic, co–curricular, applied research, arts and culture, and public service programs change thousands of lives every year. Your gift ensures our hands–on learning and community impact are far–reaching and endless.

You can shape the future by supporting any area you want to impact.
