Born and raised in Cardiff, Wales.

Undergraduate work in Nottingham, England. 
M.A. and Ph.D., University of California at Santa Barbara.

WRITINGS:
To date I have written eleven plays, four of which have won national awards.  I have also written three screenplays.  A prose piece, A Welsh Encounter in the Hills of Monterey, was recently published in the Welsh Literary Review.  My play, "Another Child's Christmas in Wales," is being published and represented by Cymdeithas Ddrama Cymru (the Drama Society of Wales).  I am currently writing a novel set in Wales. 

CLASSES
I teach classes in creative writing (playwriting and screenwriting)and dramatic literature.   Recent new classes offered include From Page to Stage and Celtic Literature.

OTHER INTERESTS:
Singing in the University choir and grandchildren.
