Hall of Honor 2024 Information

We are pleased to announce that the Emeritus and Retired Faculty and Staff Association (ERFSA) and the Office of the Provost will be hosting the 13th Annual Hall of Honor on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the BMU Auditorium.

Retired faculty and staff selected by the ERFSA Executive Committee from nominations submitted by their colleagues will be inducted into the Hall of Honor in recognition of their contributions to Chico State, student success, and our community.

2024 Hall of Honor Inductees

Tickets for the event will open on March 4. We will host an archive of the event on the website in early June. Note that we will not be livestreaming the ceremony.

Ticket and Luncheon Information

Tickets may be purchased from the University Box Office from March 4 to May 24 at 4 p.m. A ticket for one person costs $40 (plus a $8 convenience charge per order if ordered online or over the phone; alternatively, you may visit the Box Office to purchase a ticket without the extra charge) and includes lunch and a parking pass (see below for parking information) with its total cost. If you are a member of Chico State ERFSA, tickets will cost $35 for two tickets (note that the convenience charge policy above still applies).

Lunch is being provided by Associated Students Catering and the meal options are (GF = Gluten-free):

Main Course
Chicken Piccata with Artichokes - Grilled chicken breast, capers, artichokes, white wine butter sauce (GF)
OR
Vegetarian Lasagna - Onions, garlic, zucchini, yellow squash, mushrooms, tomato sauce, olive oil, salt, pepper, dried Italian spices, nut free pesto, basil, and semolina/egg noodles

Side
Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes - Yukon Gold potatoes, roasted garlic sour cream, cream (GF)
OR
Lundberg Wild Rice Medley - Local Lundberg wild rice, vegetable mix (GF)

All lunches will also come with:

Baby Greens Salad - Fresh baby greens, cucumber, tomato, carrot, spiced almonds with Balsamic dressing (GF)
Garlic Focaccia
Assorted Cookies for dessert (vegan and gluten-free options will be available)

You will select a main course and side option as you purchase your ticket. Charcuterie boards with cheeses, meats, breads, vegetables and fruit, iced tea, coffee and water are also provided.

Parking Information

Hall of Honor parking will be in the Parking Structure #2 located on West 2nd Street and Normal Avenue. Entry is on Chestnut Street. Parking elsewhere will not be covered by the included parking pass.

Beginning at 10 a.m. a Hall of Honor representative will be stationed on the first floor of the Parking Structure to distribute parking passes. You will not need to pay via a parking dispenser. The 3rd and 4th floors of the Structure act as our parking area for the event. The BMU Auditorium is across the street from the Parking Structure.

If you need transportation to the venue, we will have a cart available. When picking up your pass from the attendant on the first floor, ask for a ride and they will notify the cart driver. Please head over to the designated stations on each floor if you would like a ride to the BMU.

A cart will also be available to return guests to their vehicles following the luncheon. Please wait in the BMU courtyard by the Wildcat Statue for pickup.
