Passing of Dr. Karin Hoover
We in the ERTH department are saddened to report the passing of one of our own, Prof. Karin Hoover on March 30, 2021. Dr. Hoover has been a valued member of the ERTH family, first as an undergraduate, and then with her return to Chico State as a faculty member in 2000. Although she was in part-time retirement, Dr. Hoover still provided the same wit, sharp sense of humor, and passion for students through these difficult on-line learning times. She was loved by her students and colleagues, and she will be missed terribly.
