Lecturer
Dr. Averbeck is author of Liberalism Is Not Enough, a critique of postwar political thought that explores the impact of racial capitalism on the politics of the Great Society. Her research focuses on political discourse and ideas, particularly when it comes to the intersections of class and race.
Other than history and politics, she enjoys watching period pieces and petting dogs.
