John Crosthwaite received his BA in Dramatic Arts from UC Davis and his MFA in Acting from The Theater School at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. John has worked as a professional Actor and Improvisor in both the San Francisco and Chicagoland markets. He is also an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors with over 40 Theater, Film, and Media productions to his credit. Recently John co-founded the company "ZCross", a Theatrical Stage Combat, Stunt, and Live Entertainment company here in Chico, CA.

Professionally John has worked at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Roving Shakespeare Company, Legacy Stage (here in Chico), American Blues Theater, Contra Costa Civic Theater, Collaboration, Napa Shakespeare Festival, Solano Repertory Theater, Poison Apple Productions and the Oak Park Festival Theater (Currently an Artistic Associate). John also has an extensive Independent Film/Television resume and currently he can be heard as "Chief", "Car-Jack Jackson",  and additional voices on the Netflix Family cartoon "Go! Go! Cory Carson" by Kuku Studios.
