ITSS Lab Reservations

MLIB 116 Net Study Rooms.

The Net Study Rooms are located in the 1st Floor of the Meriam Library Lab. The room numbers are  111, 112, 117, 118, 119, 131, 132

Reservation policy

  • In order to reserve a room you must be a current CSU, Chico student with a @mail.csuchico.edu or @csuchico.edu email address.
  • Rooms can only be reserved by groups of three to nine students.
  • There is a maximum of two consecutive hours per reservation.
  • There is a maximum of four hours total reservations per day. (Group can use the room longer if the room is not reserved)
  • There is a maximum of eight hours total reservations per week per group.
  • If you can not make your reservation, or no longer require a room reservation, please cancel your reservation.
  • Students who do not show up and fail to cancel may be prohibited from future reservations.

How do you reserve a Net Study room?

  • Go to website: www.libcal.csuchico.edu/booking/netstudy.
  • Click on the desired Net Study Room and time block.
    • (Note, you can book either 1 or 2 hour block periods).
    • They will highlight in orange once you have made your selection.
  • Click on the Continue tab.
  • Enter the required "Booking Details". (Note, Only @mail.csuchico.edu and @csuchico.edu emails will be accepted for room reservations).
  • You will receive an email from alerts@libcal.com.

Canceling a reservation

  • To cancel a reservation request, use the "cancel this booking visit" in your confirmation email.

TEHAMA 131 Lab

This lab has 44 PC's, not including the instructor's station. The maximum capacity of this lab is 45 people. 

Lab Use

  • The session instructor
    • is responsible for arriving early and informing the students that they need to be out before the reservation starts.
    • should turn over the "Class in Session" sign on the lab door during the workshop and turn it over again when the workshop is done.
    •  is responsible for leaving all the computers in their original startup state when the workshop is finished.
    • The session instructor is responsible for returning the computer projector to its original state or location when finished.
    • will use their own CSU Credentials to log into the Instructor Computer
  • During the workshop, if any technical issues arise, please call x4357 for assistance.
