Department Position: Costume Shop Supervisor, Performing Arts Technician III
Duties for the department: Supervise and lead additional staff and students in all areas of costume production for the School of the Arts. Organize and maintain all costume work and storage areas. Routinely, designs, constructs costumes and accessories using advanced historical patterning, draping, and tailoring techniques.
Additionally, supervises students in the operation of the costume rental program. Our purpose is to provide an educational tool for students on the operation of a professional theatrical rental facility by renting costumes to schools, theatres, community organizations as well as Chico State productions outside of the School of the Arts regularly scheduled season. It is not available to individuals, or the general public.

Off-campus related activities: Professional freelance costume and fashion designer for various theatre, dance and clothing companies throughout California.
Experience and training: professional custom dressmaking and design for over 30 years with 20 years as a costume technician at CSU Chico. Additional studies include: jewelry making, painting, sculpture, art history and graphic design.
Hobbies: Competing in triathlons, road and mountain bike racing.
Costume Shop Philosophy: to work in harmony with other faculty and staff in a student centered shop to produce quality theatre that will ultimately enrich our lives.
