The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

About Phi Kappa Phi

The mission of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others. The Phi Kappa Phi badge represents the various branches of general education and the bond that unites members in a common love of learning.

At California State University, Chico, we have a renewed interest in using PKP as a tool to unite and engage our campus community of student and professional scholars. Welcome to our new website!

Membership in Phi Kappa Phi is by invitation only. Those elected to membership include the top 7.5 percent of second-term juniors and the top 10 percent of seniors and graduates. Faculty, professional staff, and alumni also may qualify.

  • Career assistance is provided through the PKP Career Center.
  • Members can stay informed via their subscription to the Phi Kappa Phi Forum; podcasts; Link, the PKP online community; and the PKP headquarters website.
