Subject: Approval for the Establishment of the Rural Northern California Clinical Simulation Center (Rural SimCenter)

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate, and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the establishment of the Rural Northern California clinical Simulation Center (Rural SimCenter) effective Fall 2011.

The Rural SimCenter will be overseen by the College of Natural Sciences. The Center’s purpose is to provide state of the art education through the use of risk-free, hands-on programs for students, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.
