Subject: Significant Change to the BA in Multicultural and Gender Studies
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate, and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a Significant Change to the BA in Multicultural and Gender Studies. The program is updating its interdisciplinary offerings, becoming more contemporary with its curriculum, and integrating more intersectionality throughout the major. The number of units for the major will increase from 39 to 42 and the change will be effective fall 2019.
