Subject: Approval of the New Minor in Secondary Language Arts
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the new Minor in Secondary Language Arts within the Department of English, College of Humanities and Fine Arts. The Secondary Language Arts Minor, in combination with the English Education Option of the BA in English, completes the requirements of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing-approved subject matter preparation program in English. The new Minor will require 18-21 units and will be effective fall 2021.
