Subject: Significant Change to the Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the BA in Biological Sciences. The revised program creates a degree designed for pre-healthcare students with career goals for which a Bachelor of Science degree is not necessary. The program will continue to serve students pursuing single subject matter preparation in science with a concentration in biological sciences. This change will be effective fall 2023.
