Subject: Approval to Change the Name of the Department of Music and Theatre
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve changing the name of the Department of Music and Theatre to the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance with a new abbreviation of MTAD. The name change and abbreviation will be effective July 1, 2023.
Additionally, a course subject matter abbreviation of DANC will be created for dance courses effective fall 2024.
