December 4, 2023 – Next Week is Employee Care and Community Week

Dear Campus Community,

We’ve nearly made it to the end of the fall semester and your hard work has not gone unnoticed. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for what you do every day to support our students and keep this campus running smoothly.

Closing out the semester during the holiday season is stressful, so I hope you’ll find time to practice self-care during Employee Care and Community Week, which begins Monday, December 11.

We've lined up a series of activities—from sharing afternoon treats to trying out the massage chairs at The Well and workouts at the WREC. Check out the schedule in the graphic below. Personally, I plan to participate in the yoga and dance classes at the WREC. Managers, please support and encourage your team to participate and take some well-deserved breaks.

I want to extend a big thank you to the Associated Students for generously opening up the WREC and The Well to our faculty and staff (employees can use these facilities all week for free). I can’t wait to see you at as many of these events as possible!
